Help us improve the orange xc ski trail at Laurel Ridge Cross Country Ski Area!
We will be spreading gravel into persistent wet patches and cutting back overhanging briars.
Let us know if you can participate. Additionally, all volunteers are required to sign up as a DCNR volunteer and sign up for the volunteer opportunity which DCNR will create for us. Details will be posted here when we have them.
Meet at 9:30am in the parking lot on Saturday 3 October.
Wear orange hats or clothing.
Bring water, lunch, gloves, a rake or shovel for the gravel, or loppers and/or clippers for trimming vegetation.
Be prepared to walk out on the orange trail to the work site(s).
