Blue Knob

Open at weekends.  The nordic center charges a trail fee to ski on the golf course.  The golf course (when groomed) is fun for skaters, about 10km of gently rolling trails, and the state park has about 20km of wide wooded trails. The golf course slopes down for the first part, then slopes up the second part to get back. Over a distance of about 1 mile it goes down 430 feet, then over another mile it goes up 430 feet. The best flat areas to ski are in the state park section, however they are not very long.
