This winter going down in the history books as one of the best for skiers!

Welcome to February, often our snowiest month. Cheers to this winter as we have already had 55 days of skiing and no warm air in sight! Ski legs off!

Grooming everything daily with a snowcat and ginzus....17" at 4300 feet. Busy with skiers this season so far. Special events, ski sales, cafe, and 2500 acres of north facing Appalachia. No warm air in sight!

Wild Sunday! We ended up with mostly sleet at our elevation yet it has frozen and created a crusy base. 1" new powder atop and it's snowing at 10 degrees reporting time. Remember we sell all kinds of Nordic gear at discount prices. 15" at 4300 feet.

Mostly sleet, 6" so far with wide variations regionally. Grooming the sandy accumulations and the storm is still raging.

All trails open 2"-10" depending on elevation. We sell our rental gear daily if you need anything. Full sales shop, repairs, ski school, cafe, special events, and a huge trail system over 2500 acres. 1200 vertical rise and fall with hundreds of intersections. Opened in '79, kids trade in program, trails leading to two alpine ski areas for one run lifts back to the top. Come ski with us sometime!

Only 1" new last eve, lightly snowing this morning at 27 degrees. All trails open with low snow caution...hope skiers get out and enjoy the MLK weekend. 4" packed powder at 4000 feet with grass popping through!

Snowfarm is so deep and powdery this sweet bluebird Friday.

Rolled a lot of trails down to the ground in places yet it snowed 2" yesterday to beef up thin conditions. Mostly wind and cold Thursday and will shovel and groom the snowfarm near the lodge for the best skiing along fences and drifted hollows. Every trail considerd skiable with downhill caution and suggest 3 mile for your descent off the mountain. 5" at 4000 feet. Happy holiday skiing! chip

3" windblown powder built up against our snowfarm as we shoveled and groomed 5 km. Rentals, lessons, sales, and cafe. Winter is just getting started.

2"-4" new drifted the entire snowfarm where 5 km will be groomed. Not enough to ski the mountain this morning.

Hanging in there....mid 40's Monday, already 36, lots of skiing on thin cover....still 7" packed at 4300 feet. Winter is young.

Just enough snow and a very busy holiday weekend. Trails are 1"- 6" packed powder. Snowshoe walks, delicious cafe, live music, and new season passers every day. Happy winter fellow skiers!

Snow continues to fall, 3" over night, we're gonna baby the entire mountain for the holiday weekend. 7" snow at 4300 this morning. Happy New year fellow skiers.

Skiing so soft and delightful these days, out grooming everything, so many happy skiers! A foot in the high woods and slightly less down at the 3336' lodge.

Around 5" new over an inch old as we will ski the entire mountain with low snow caution. Meadows are drifting huge and will let them settle before grooming. Plan to roll some today, keep DAILY REPORT updated and happy skiing to all!

Day 6 skiing after a 14" hit before Veteran's Day. Lots of wind as the snowfarm caught huge crop. Open today and not sure about the weekend. Online report at WG Daily Report with lots of current pictures and links to our webcam and forecast. Winter Came Early!
