| There are tons of trails on top of the Mountain, miles and miles of wilderness skiing. On Clearfield Mountain, Penfield exit on I-80, take route 153 east approx 2 miles, take route 322 west for approx 2 miles, dirt road on left with parking area. Park, grab a map, and enjoy. Or proceed down route 322 to Mitch's diner for directions to trails. |

Stop at Love's Canoe Rental and rent skis if needed or ask for Dave. Dave will give directions. I know for years Dave has groomed trails and there are several buildings for shelter near the trails |

Lake Cross Country Center Nice dining hall and warming hut. Trails are a bit tight and winding. Location tends to hold the snow when they get some. Lodging for larger groups in 11 rustic cabins(6 -20 people). Lessons available. Rentals include classic and skating skis, ice skates and snowshoes. Friendly staff.
