Laurel Mountain Volunteer Group
This will be our first Volunteer Day of 2013. We will focus on maintenance needs north of the Turnpike. We will install a roof on the warming hut, brush back numerous trails, remove trees from trails, blaze needed trails, fill in wet spots on the trail system, and other needed projects.
We will meet at 9:30 am, at the Warming Hut on Laurel Summit Road. From Route 30, take Laurel Summit Rd about 2.5 miles, and the Warming Hut will be on your left.
Wear long pants, boots, leather gloves, hat or hardhat, eye protec-tion, and ear protection. Please pack a container for water, and bring snacks or a lunch. It is also a good idea to bring sunblock.
