Laurel Ridge Snow Report posted by skiers

Post a Snow Report

Date: 3/11/2008

Name: Dave Helwig

snowRpt: I see that a dusting of snow has covered (kind of) the bare spots visible in yesterday's webcam shots. DON'T BE FOOLED. I was there Monday afternoon and the "skiing" ,if it could even be called that was crappy. Only about the first 1K of the red trail, and the adjacent green loops, were even marginally skiable. Looks like the 2007-2008 season is over unless Charlie can pull a big March blizzard out of his isobars.

Date: 3/1/2008

Name: AC

snowRpt: Another stellar day for Classic skiing on the ridge. A big thank you to Bob R. and Bob M. for the excellent grooming!

Date: 2/29/2008

Name: bob gedekoh

snowRpt: Conditions were excellent on red and orange. It snowed most of the day on the mountain, I was surprised to find rain when I drove down in to Connellsville. Conditions should be very good on Saturday... there was no rain on the ridge.
